Death of the Heart

It has been 54 years since the casket of John F Kennedy, the 36th president, and the youngest of all US presidents was laid to rest as he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas.

In this article, I want to show you how JF Kennedy was assassinated by a cold-hearted man and why you should join to stop this pointless act translated here as Death of the Heart.

A dead heart does not only mean heart attack and diseases but it also signifies unfeeling or unsympathetic heart that commits fratricide through arms or other means.

It was the death of the heart which purported this demise. The assailant, identified as Jack Ruby got a blank range shot just not many hours after the assassination.

”For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, theft, murder, coveting, wickedness, deceit, envy, pride foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” quotes one of the biblical verses.

Watch the video to recall the assassination scene. Can a man(assassin) be that much cruel pulling the trigger? And can a heart(victim) be that much innocent just before receiving the bullet that costs his life?

Is this the moral code one should ever follow?

What use do we have out of this kinda fratricidal acts? What do I profit after having slain my own fellow man?
NOTHING, nothing at all, nil, zero, nowt!

Rather, it’s simply a push towards nihilism. A paradox for a radiant living and good life.

Where is the world going towards? Shouldn’t we all have a heart that is affectionate, supportive and respectable with a sense of honor? Let’s all try to do good.

Weeding out False Attitudes

What’s lacking is the time to weed out false-positives. Bloggers today need a platform to shout in one chorus, the attitude towards the higher value. An attitude with the foundation painted in love and slogans based on caring, giving, helping and let live.

We must grow in support, charity, and prosperity. Let others also grow that way. Become the cornerstone to be helpful as well as harmless to your fellowmen.

Take every advantage of living good, doing good and giving goodness. For we live only once and there are no spare parts to our precious lives.

Also, you can never believe to arrive at a HUGE success when your attitudes are pregnant with jealousy, doubts, skepticism, and confusion.

What you need are an estimation founded in stronger trust and mutual respect. You can reinforce harmlessness. Discourage fraudulent means. Encourage good words, deed, and action.

Spread the good news that we, as peoples, despite our geographical barriers and locations, make up the sum total of this small beautiful planet Earth.

So, let us pick up a well-knitted 3 beautiful words today, written in a white paper that can fly, and inscribed with LOVE, GRATITUDE, and PROSPERITY.

Making it raised above the ground and allowing it to glide through the breeze, passing every river, valley and finding echoes of goodness in every mountain and the Greenfield, till it finally comes rebounding back to every heart filled with tenderness, endearment, and admiration.

When this is done, we annihilate false attitudes.

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhiji

Spending time usefully through faith, belief & certainty

Believe in what you are and what you can achieve. Certainty, faith, and belief are the most essential components of creating anything valuable in life including making money or building wealth consciousness.

This is what the universe offers you to go out and do the thing you want to do and achieve in life. This points to the reality that you are doing or spending your time usefully.

You cannot become a state without certainty. You are the one to create that state of certainty. Have a purpose and spend your time accordingly to that specific desire.

Make yourself busy. There’s a line that says, “the happiest man is the busiest because he doesn’t find time to worry”.

Find a hobby or a pastime to spend your time in a productive way. That way you will pursue the things you love to do each day and avoid infringement to other’s business.

Shift your paradigm

Cultivate an attitude to shift your paradigm. most people never get full control over their thinking, which means they never gain control over their paradigm. Instead, they let the environment and circumstance to shape their lives and do not see another way around.

A paradigm is formed while growing up. Until we develop a conscious mind and get full control over our thinking, we will remain the same.

You can shift this. start appreciating the little things around you and you are not going to be envious or resentful about others who probably have a lot more than you, thus improving your self-esteem.

Watch the video by Bob Proctor to shift your paradigm:

John F Kennedy had a strong belief

John F Kennedy had a strong belief in himself. His feats of bravery are seen chronicled in the World War II and a future in politics before he became the president.

After graduating, he joined the Navy with his brother Joe who was a flyer. He was assigned to the South Pacific as the commander of a patrol torpedo boat, the PT-109 and had a crew of twelve men whose mission was to stop Japanese ships from delivering supplies to their soldiers.

One fateful night of August 2, 1943, the Japanese warship rammed at the PT-109 splitting in half and killing two of his men. He was also slammed hard against the cockpit and yet, managed to save all the other crew members by pulling them ashore.

In 1956, he had already become a popular politician. He also wrote a book called the Profiles in Courage which got awarded for the Pulitzer Prize for biography in 1956.

On July 1960, the Democratic party nominated him as its candidate for president in the next election and got elected at the age 43 as the 35th President of United States.

He had the heart to lead his nation to prosperity. He is also known for his stronger voice in leading the country to make it second to none. A heart to make his country proud and the cornerstone of the arch of freedom.

He had a strong belief and a good heart.

Legends don’t die and JF Kennedy still lives among us today, though he is physically absent.

May he find his name in Golden Ink in the poem of Abou Ben Adham by Leigh Hunt that says,

“I pray thee, then,
Write me as one that loves his fellow man”

Let’s apply the principles of loving our fellow men in society. Let’s get rid of false attitudes.

Let’s shout about LOVE, RESPECT, and HONOR as we celebrate BLACK FRIDAY commemorating the 54th assassination of John F Kennedy.

  1. I agree that we need to be more empathetic people. Often times, when we are not in the moment, we can loose focus of our most valuable resource in this life: relationships. Do you have a practice you use to stay in tune with the moment and stay appreciative of the people around us?

    • Yes, that’s true. We need to promote the most valuable resources in life when we can. Indeed, being harmless and maintaining a good relationship with everyone is a virtue we should all try to uphold.

Positive people always win. And to stay being positive, I pull up inspiration from Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Thank you so much for your comment.

      All the best

  2. Yes, Phakacha, This is very true and one wonders were it political like most of these things happening around us? There have been a lot of these things that have been going on over time.

    • A lot of things like this has been going on over time. Some do it for political gains while another’s reason may differ in many aspects.

But we, as a people, should try to stay calm and appreciate what each individual contributes to society. We can be makers of peace rather than violence.
      Thanks for your comment.

  3. This is true, ‘we must be the change, we all are looking for’. And we can do anything, but we can’t do everything. That’s is why collective living and cooperative giving is the best way to heal our world. Thank you for this post.

    • Collective living and cooperative giving is the best option for making a society peaceful and prosperous.
We should all learn to appreciate and build peace to what each individual contributes to society.

By learning how to respect and appreciate, there will be no violence.

      Thanks for leaving your comment.

Wishing you all the best in your online journey.

  4. Very uplifting post for sure! And I totally agree. I try to live my life with the glass being half full and to stay positive. I know that negativity will just drag you down.
By the way, I used to live in Dallas, and I went to where Kennedy was shot and did the tour. Awesome tour and a shame it all happened.

    • Oh, glad to hear that you had a tour to Dallas, the place of the assassination. And am sure you must also have felt what a big loss it was, and that nothing was gained out of such acts.

From this example, we can all start looking at our own fellowmen from a different perspective – an eye of respect and a heart of compassion.

      Thanks for your comment.

  5. I love this quote, “the happiest man is the busiest because he doesn’t find time to worry”. I tell people all of the time worrying does absolutely nothing but make you miserable so why worry? What will be will be so stop worrying and enjoy life. It is impossible to be truly happy when you are worrying all of the time. I do not worry about anything and I am calm all of the time. It really helps to keep focused and happy.

    • As far as practicable, we must try our level best to annihilate negative feelings that bring no benefits. And as you said, one must stop worrying and start living life in its fullness.

Making ourselves busy in something lucrative is a good time pass and we have no time to get worried with such a condition.

      Thanks for your comment.

  6. Hi man!

I love this article! One time I heard a line “all that man needs is purpose and faith.” It adds up perfectly to your post. There is a lot of truth written here.

    • That’s right Ivan. All that a man needs is a purpose, faith, and love. With those attitudes, we are well on our own ways to do something very useful and productive.

This must be practiced by one and all.

      Thank you.

  7. “An Eye for an Eye will make the world Blind” said Gandhi. Hatred, Envy, Jealousy are the negative feelings and these can only be conquered with a strong will to be a better human being and be of some value to the society. I like the line “the happiest man is the busiest because he doesn’t find time to worry” and this is absolutely true because worry does nothing but makes you feel low and depressed. Thanks for your suggestions in this article and I look forward to reading more.

    • Very well said, my friend. Let’s all start loving our fellow men and see them from the prism of respect and honor backed by a strong sense of charity. Then only, we can make our small planet earth a better place to live and inherit.

Much appreciated for leaving your awesome comment.

      Wish you all the best.
